Re: [IAC#RG] Narendra Modi is the corrupt mouse that roars !!

Dear All,
Some of the people in the country think that Mr Narendra Modi is above criticism. If this is allowed, then there are chances of the man turning into a absolute  fascist.
India has now become globally isolated after Uri incident because of the loose-talks of Modi and his ministers. But our ``nationalistic'' media is reporting otherwise. I don't think that hiding facts is nationalism or patriotism. The truth is not coming before the people. The speech of Mr Modi at Kozhikode and his body language indicated that he was highly disappointed. A prime minister  playing with a lotus flower in his hands at the dais of BJP's national meet after a terror attack on the country, indicated that he had completely failed in handling the situation. I think his national security advisor with a thorough RSS background does not have proper understanding of the equations all over the globe.
I personally feel that Mr Modi would prove to be the most corrupt chief minister of Gujarat if an honest probe is held into his functioning in Gujarat between 2002 and 2014, before he became prime minister.
The biggest example of corruption was the allotment of the government land to Tatas's at throaway prices and giving loan of Rs. 30,000 crores to Tatas for its nano car plant with repayment to start after 20 years and, that too, at 0.10 per cent interest. Was the Gujarat government's assets personal property of Modi that he gave it to Tatas in lieu of the industrialist projecting him as ``prime minister material'' at one of Vibrant Gujarat summits.
He also allotted tracts of government land at throwaway prices to Adanis in Kutch for the latter to develop its Mundra port.
The high prices of `tuver'(arhar) dal(pulses) is also reported to be connected with the then Modi government's policies in Gujarat. when the UPA government sent circulars to all the states, to not allow hoarding of the `arhar' dal, Modi government allowed hoarding in Gujarat, that resulted in all the `arhar' pulses being  diverted to godowns in Gujarat, creating artificial shortage in the country thus resulting into increase in prices. The idea was to defame the UPA government.
When Modi became PM, Adani was allowed to import tonnes of `arhar' dal. yet, the prices have not come down. All of us know the relationship of Adani group with the political party in power at the Centre now.
As for AAP, more than 70 per cent of its leaders at the grassroots level are having RSS background. So, one can understand who is behind the floating of this party to achieve the target of ``Congress-mukt Bharat''.
As for functioning of Arvind Kejriwal's government in Delhi, it is better than previous BJP and Congress governments.

As far as kejriwal is concerned, his entry into Delhi local occurred due to Terrible Local  Councillors n Candidates chosen by BJP.
BJP needs to wakeup to this fact.
The void left by incompetence and lack of clean candidates in BJP at local level, led to entry of aap in Delhi.
And what did this bring about in Delhi, more kitch more dirt.
Where do we go from here?

Dear Shri Gaur

At the outset let me say that we certainly try and have a healthy debate on important national issues on this IAC platform with a wide range / diversity of subscribers. In fact Mr.Venkatraman is a G.Sec of IAC in Chennai and although we may differ on some minor points (eg. Gandhigiri / No-Gandhi / Bhagat Singh etc.) at the end of the day It is nation first and politics last. The sort of frank talk Mr. Venkatraman and I can conduct openly here would not happen in any political party, and there are no hard feelings between us. If this is not a sign of democracy then I don't what is.

As a long-time subscriber you would also recall my equally acerbic writings on Kejriwal, AAP, Congress, Sonia, Rahul etc. FYI, everything you or I write to this group is publicly archived and searchable on sites like http://rti4citizens.blogspot.in etc. So we are transparent.

Also, we have always encouraged the viewpoints of our intellectuals from South India. eg. you will recall the long (never ending) discussions in the past over imposing Hindi on Southern States.

FYI, if anyone made Kejriwal, It was support from Jindals and GMR arranged by Doval. We immediately disassociated within a matter of 2 months from Kejriwal. In a separate post I shall show that IAC had delinked by March 2011 and Kejriwal & Co were not using IAC name for Jan Lokpal movement.

Finally, I don't disagree with any 'opinions' people post here, Everyone is entitled to have an opinion and to express it. But if the factual basis of those opinions is shaky I shall respond to it so that our subscribers are not misled.

Let us separate two issues- corruption and governance. Kejrival fought election on corruption and has miserably failed on governance. And whatever Mr. S. Roy say or defend himself it is the India against corruption Jan andolan which gave a public face to kejrival otherwise who knew him before.  S. Roy' claim that he had disassociated himself from that andolan does not change the subsequent development leading to kejrival , landslide victory and miserable failure in governance. Doling out subsidity on water and electricity is no substute for financial health.
It is also fact that s.roy' s language is aciditic in extreme when it comes to attacking any person or country whether is modi or united states. He is equally so when some people find fault with his judgements or pronouncement. That is certainly not a hallmark of a democrat.
For the p.m less said is better. But no one deny he is doing his best considering the political economic and strategic environment prevailing today.
I have always found Mr. Venkteraman  very responsible in his comments. Location has no meaning. Then we start questioning the wisdom leaders from south the list of which is very long.
