Babasaheb Ambedkar was a talented person but certainly not a national leader.

It was a part of Gandhiji's decision that brought him to national politics otherwise he 

would have ended as a noted Barrister only.He was certainly a very good compiler as he 

compiled the best of constitutions  from the world to make an Indian Constitution.No doubt 

that he was the best of Dalits and made an everlasting plan for Dalits in the country .

The plusses and minusses of anything,or person constitute the whole persona.
Truth can't,and shouldn't be cloaked,and certainly not wantonly,under
any flimsy excuse,just 'cause it hurts the sentiments of some.That
way,Science would never have progressed at all.You would have been
still believing in halieocentric views of cosmos only.
Vested interests always want fundamentalist views to prevail,and abhor
free debate,so much important for the very existence of democracy.
In one quietly created article Nehru wrote a piece against himself.
Yes,overplaying a card ,and for some ulterior motive,is no
good.Present a holistic picture,a balanced view, Its unfortunate that
in our culture we create deities out of us ordinary mortals. Are we
creatures,flawless,worshippable entities?
The new more enlightened India,having wider access to info,and not
living with the burden of past baggage,is entitled to re-evaluate one
and all,in light of more holistic info at their command. Its no good
stifling voices of variety/dissent.

I am in total agreement. Literate Madmen distort and falsify history. Ambedkar was a remarkable man. His role in writing the Constitution an in empowering Dalits was seminal. No madmen can take this away. I wish the editors of this forum would delete such false statements. SLRao

It is a matter of concern that Government of India is not responding to citizen's complaints about grossly obscene and pornographic content which is being openly distributed in India by foreigners in almost all the major Indian languages using .IN domain names and in contravention of the "anti abuse" policy of .IN registry under your Department.

I am aggrieved that the sub-domains "wikimedia.in" and "wikipedia.in" under the .IN ccTLD under your department  have not been suspended despite my registered complaint of 26.March.2014 reporting the misuse of these domain names to distribute grossly obscene content hosted on their international servers in Indian languages.

As the reasons for this strange inaction by your Department are an open secret, let me briefly reiterate and list them below for your ready reference.

1) Upon the UPA-1 Govt coming to power in 2004, the DIT (Department of Information Technology) promptly privatised the valuable .IN domain name Registry system (which is a hugely valuable national asset) and turned it over to the Internet Service Providers of India to run through a shell company known as NIXI (of which you are the Chairman) to profiteer and speculate upon by foreigners. That this action was so blatantly illegal that the gazette notification to settle the legal status of the .IN registry has seemingly not been issued for almost 10 years now, and the NIXI is an albatross on the DEITY.

2) That the control of the.IN Registry has ended up in the hands of 2 mafia cartels based in Gulf. One of the cartels (the larger one) is actually controlled by the relative of a well known political personality. You know very well that 6 of the top 10 authorised Registrars for .IN Registry will effectively turn out to be the same person once the corporate veil is pierced. That even the MoS of DIT (Shri Milind Deora), to whom 2 complaints have been made about this pornography, is helpless in the matter considering the clout this person enjoys in UPA.

3) That the ISPs who comprise the NIXI and are on the Board of the NIXI have a vested interest in hosting and distributing this pornography which is rotting the moral fiber of the youth of this nation. For instance Government of India knows very well that the alleged perpetrators (convicts) of the horrific 16 Dec 2012 Delhi gang rape are youngsters who were allegedly regularly accessing sites like Wikipedia / Wikimedia to view and download this kind of pornography which is so graphic and detailed that it incited them to the ghastly crime when opportunity presented itself.

4) That the MD of the web hosting company for Wikimedia is a director of the NIXI which manages the .IN Registry under dubious circumstances. You will surely know best how he was appointed and why he was appointed and who appointed him.

For your reference and as an aide-memoir I am attaching yet another pornographic image downloaded today from www.wikimedia.in" as an example of how foreigners are promoting and distributing their internationally hosted pornography to corrupt the youth of this nation.

Until these domain are not shut down, the blood of all the rape victims of India will be on your hands.

Since this is a dispute concerning the .IN Registry and its functioning, kindly constitute a DISPUTE RESOLUTION COMMITTEE as provided in the .IN Policy Framework of 28.Oct.2004.

After prolonged efforts to get in touch with the "Grievance Officer" (please see the Information Technology Intermediary Guideline Rules 2011) of these websites through the Registrant(s) and the Registrars of these domains, I was informed by one of the Registrants Ms. Michelle Paulson Legal Counsel Wikimedia Foundation (through email) that being a US registered entity with servers located in USA the Registrant - Wikimedia Foundation - is not required to comply with India law for their .IN domain name(s) to appoint a Grievance Officer to address my grievances with their websites.

I thereafter promptly filed a complaint with the .IN Registry on 26.March 2014 under the .IN Registry's  "anti-abuse" policy for .IN domains. I had sent a few examples of the pornography along with my grievances.

I am sorry to say that these websites / domains still continue to function and I am not being given any updates on my complaint, and I thereby have reason to believe that officers in NIXI have been bribed not to take action on my complaint.

I am enclosing an additional obscene graphic (fairly mild in comparison to what else is available for download) accessed by me today from this website/domain, and request that you personally inquire and take swift action into the sorry state of affairs into this private company NIXI which has been floated by the Internet Service Providers of India (who have a direct commercial conflict of interest in the matter to shut down such pornographic websites/domains) who seem to be managing the .IN Registry in a highly irregular, corrupt and anti-citizen manner which is opposed to public policy.

I am the National Convenor since 2007 of "India Against Corruption", and incidentally have lived half my life in Mumbai South LS Constituency where I still have a large network of "friends".

Some elderly educated Christan / Zorastrian ladies of Mumbai had complained to me that the Wikipedia's .IN websites were being used to distribute highly obscene pornography,and requested me to get these  .IN sites closed down.

My India Against Corruption had of course organised the street protests in Delhi after the Delhi gang rape, and safety and security of women in urban metros is a high priority for IAC so we agreed.

I represented to the .IN Registry which is managed by NIXI to get the following 2 websites /domain names suspended

a) "wikimedia.in"
b) "wikipedia.in"

For some strange reason NIXI (CEO Dr. Govind) is not taking prompt action and is allowing the matter to linger.

Since the common traditionally minded citizens nowadays expect strong, prompt and firm action, which should be very well publicised, I am attaching some PDF files (a very small sample from the oceans of smut) which will show prima-facie that these 2 domain names need to suspended immediately by NIXI / UPA-II in the larger public interest so that our youth especially the young girls can go safely in the streets.
