Re: [IAC#RG] Sunita Godara is not connected with IAC any longer

none of the faces of the then Team Anna are now with IAC... including Anna Hazare. Any specific reason for this??

Dear IAC subscribers

It is with considerable regret that I inform the movement that with elections coming near, some corrupt people are getting quite uncomfortable with India Against Corruption's silent activities (ie. out of the media spotlight) which has been wreaking havoc in certain govt departments to the extent  high stakes files are not moving at all, there is decision making paralysis and bribes in these departments have touched astronomical limits to get work down.

In the coming weeks/months we are likely to see some more discredited persons like Sunita Godara emerging to claim that they are still part of India Against Corruption.

They are NOT.

I would like to remind Ms Godara of her own well reported statement issued on behalf of her so-called IAC-Anna office in New Delhi which was openly operating from the residence of Congress Party leader in Sarvodaya Enclave.

"Anna drops IAC Brand Name"
http://www.indianexpress.com/news/anna-drops-iac-brand-name-to-close-delhi-office/1061067/

There has been a rash of fake organisations cropping/popping up in last 2 weeks claiming to be affiliated to Anna Hazare. These are all connected with recent Anna's overseas visit and it is well known that he is returning to India with massive foreign funds (2 petis = US$ 370,000) in hand, and with new overseas "friends" and also new Indian religious gurus (Swami Nityananda is the front runner) to head the spiritual side of their movement after Ramdev's open support for BJP and Narendra Modi .

IAC's own annual national core committee meeting has been called in Delhi, where the "Anna situation" will also be discussed. It will be held on 2-3 September 2013.

Re: [IAC#RG] CHIDAMBARAM’S SILENCE ON CORRUPTION RIDDEN GOVERNANCE

I follow some of the subjects and ignore others. But this one on the rupee fall is a definite concern to the right thinking indians and i fully endorse the views of Mr Vijoy Ambasta. Greed at individual level and at institutional level have made us what we are today.

We have many of the political leaders ( read ministers) who are having concurrent businesses and industries, so how can the governmental policies be impervious to their own greed ! A drastic Electoral Reform where ONLY those who are full time servants of the people with no private interest whatsoever only are permitted to fight elections is required now than ever before. Sadly no one is talking about this!.

Another very sad part is the steep fall in the civil discipline .... almost 90-95% people ( at least in Delhi) are prone to breaking traffic rules.. jump red light signal.. unmindful of the harried pedestrian and most of these people are LITERATE in the worldly sense!.  Now what can be expected in society's developmental efforts if this sorry state exists?

Visiting southeast country... say Thailand's Bangkok.. speedy vehicle stops at least 200 meters before any pedestrian who is found crossing the Zebra Crossing despite the Green Signal ! here one shudders to think of the consequences... the rampant road rage that we see here is a poor reflection of our National Character which is being killed day in and day out by the TV channels beaming the pornography in the grab of dance shows, awards functions & what not!.  Our neighbour pakistan is taking a step to curb misuse of the mobile phones by youngsters at late night lured by cheap offers packages  of sms/chat....  for preventing moral degradation... which our own 'Rights' organizations ( read NGOs funded by International Interests) will fight tooth & nail to forestall any such here.

No one is serious about the massive population growth ... with a skewed ratio amongst the 'haves' & the 'have nots'  and on top of it doing out free-bees in the name of social security in almost all walks of life... sustaining a vote ensuring strategic plan.

Of course the Government can not be solely held responsible for all the mess that we are in ( i am not saying it is not responsible for most of it but we citizens are also equally  responsible).

I have going through your mails regularly and some of them are really good and hope they are giving you desired results.

Here I need to raise a doubt I have in mind regarding RBI and banks . In last 10 years I have watched time to time RBI raising interest rates thereby affecting the EMI payer , the banks are under obligation in utrn to raise the EMI of the borrower, but when the RBI decreases the interest rates there is no compulsion for the banks to decrease the same. The end result is in last 10 years the EMI has increased by 100% and the borrower is endlessly paying to the bank with the number of years of EMI increased and the amount increased. The borrower is literally the tenant of the bank.

CHIDAMBARAM'S  SILENCE  ON CORRUPTION RIDDEN  GOVERNANCE

Replying to the debate in parliament on  27th August , P.Chidambaram   blamed  several external factors   as well as the judiciary's  "interference"  for the country's  economic mess  , as if  he has no  responsibility .   He  made  empty promises  like curtailing current account deficit,  boosting manufacturing sector  etc.  without really explaining  why he has not done this all these years and how he would do it now which  the UPA  has not done during its governance.

The real grim fact which he conveniently ignored  is the widespread corruption in the governance by UPA government, resulting in siphoning of thousands of crores of rupees  by unscrupulous ministers ,  politicians  and bureaucrats and associated business men , which resulted in coal scam , 2G scam, Commonwealth scam  etc. etc. Money meant for development  projects  are now largely in the pockets of unscrupulous people forming part of this government  and Finance Minister has nothing to say about this as this will amount to blaming himself.

He   indulged in empty  rhetoric  asking  why should we import  coal . The country  is forced to import coal because of the coal scam of the government.   Are we not paying a huge price  for the corruption  ridden  governance led by Manmohan Singh ?

Dear IAC

About 90 odd years ago, on 19 August 1921 somebody (whose genes I carry) delivered "The Call for Truth" soon after returning from the USA and elsewhere. This was the clarion call for "True Swaraj" given in 1905 (not Gandhi's "Fake Swaraj" of 1909).

While ostensibly paying "homage" to "Mahatma" Gandhi, this call inexorably set in process the violent counter-agitation to Gandhi's defeatist and collaborationist 'satyagraha' and culminated, 2 years later, as the Hindustan Republican Army (or HRA) which won Independence for India from the British (but not from its people).

Here are 2 brief extracts from a core paragraph in that call.

"Alien government in India is a veritable chameleon. Today it comes in the guise of the Englishman, tomorrow perhaps as some other foreigner; the next day without abating a jot of its virulence, it may take the shape of our own countrymen. ... So in 1905 I called upon my own countrymen to create their own country by putting forth their own powers from within. For the act of creation is itself the realisation of the truth."

Re: [IAC#RG] UPA GOVT’S UNCHARITABLE REMARKS ON JUDICIARY

Sorry Mr Venkatraman

The judiciary is the greater of the two evils. For the politician to commit any crime in office he needs the active support of his babus. The judiciary does not need it. While in a democracy we cannot absolve the politicians of their first culpability, the ultimate culpability is that of the judiciary. The treason of people tasked to deliver justice just cannot be condoned.

UPA  GOVT'S  UNCHARITABLE  REMARKS  ON  JUDICIARY

Speaking in Parliament , the Finance Minister accused judiciary of  putting impediments in the functioning  of the government.  Certainly,  millions of well informed  Indians  will reject this charge with the contempt that it deserves.  On the other hand,  people think  that the judiciary is the only hope today  to restore probity in public life and people want judiciary to be proactive.

But for the Supreme Court, the people involved in monumental corruption  such as Commonwealth games, 2G scam, Coal scam and several other scams of Manmohan  Singh's government which have become the order of the day now, would have gone scot free.   Several  organisations  would have got away with environmental violations.  It is true that Supreme Court has now become sort of powerful  constitutional body.   But, this is only  because of the huge support that it gets from the public and the common man who feel helpless in the present situation.

The government is now trying to bring several amendments in Parliament  to curtail the powers of the Supreme Court  and control its function in a direct or indirect way. Credibility of the ministers and politicians in the country is already low and their attempt  to check the Supreme Court  may lead to a lot of public anger which  these politicians cannot control.

It is necessary that those in charge of the government at top level should have the wisdom to see things in proper perspective and understand the public mood  and  the ultimate limitations of the ministers and politicians.  By indulging in unchecked corruption and nepotism  on the one hand and   in trying to put down  Supreme Court, which is the only place where people hope to get justice , the   central government  is  playing with fire.

Dear Er Sarbajit Roy,
Greetings
Yes Sir, that was a call for , " Truth" and so for Ancient  Indian ethos ie pursuit of Truth unlike other later creeds.
Truth has to and shall prevail inspite of Indiras, Sonia's, and prior to them English and Moghuls.
That is the hope that rises eternally in the Bharatiya heart.
Namaste.
